The Eleven Women Nobel Laureates in the Sciences 1903-2004 — a presentation on Tuesday April 5th
(Posted Mar 14 2005) A speech entitled "The Eleven Women Nobel Laureates in the Sciences 1903-2004" will be given on Tuesday April 5th at 7:00 pm in the Scotiabank Auditorium of the Marion McCain Arts and Social Sciences Building.
The story of the Women Nobel Laureates and their scientific accomplishments spans a century of mores, customs, prejudics, persecutions, history, and politics. Come and hear about the context and the lives of these amazing women.
The speaker is Dr. Bessie Borwein, Professor Emeritus and Anatomy and Special Advisor to the Vice-President Research, University of Western Ontario.
